Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

A Senior Cybersecurity Analyst works with Security Operations team to identify and monitor security threats to an organization s cyber systems and respond to these incidents and mitigate any risks coming toward the customer network.

Day to day Security Monitoring;

Day to day threat hunting;

Continuously developing security solutions;

Recommend implementing security tools to prevent the same security issues from happening again;

Preform optimization and enhancement of security monitoring tools, regular fine-tuning and filtering.

Investigate root cause, document findings, implement recovery strategies, and communicate status to team members.

Senior Cybersecurity Analyst will be reporting to Cyber Security Manager.

Education: University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Holding certificates on IT security such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP or equivalent

Experience: 5+ years of IT security experience

Special Skills: Expert understanding of the current and developing Malware & Trojan landscape.

In-depth know-how of full packet capture technologies.

Knowledge of correlation tools and SIEM technologies In-depth understanding of sandbox technologies and their limitations.

In-depth experience of SourceFire, Snort, or similar Intrusion Detection systems.

Expert knowledge of Intrusion Detection signature development and knowledge of log analysis tools and techniques.
