Role Overview
Airalo is a global eSIM company serving travelers in more than 200 countries and regions.
The Senior Core Network Engineer will own subscriber data and HLR/HSS template engineering supporting global MVNO scaling.
The team is fully remote, and English is the primary working language.
Workplace and Contract
- The role is remote and open to candidates across supported locations in Europe.
- The contract is full-time and permanent.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and maintain HLR/HSS subscriber templates, roaming profiles, APN/PDN contexts, and Camel/Diameter triggers.
- Implement and refine Steering of Roaming logic with roaming partners.
- Lead technical deployment of Full MVNO profiles, including QoS profiles and GT/APN addressing.
- Act as the technical contact for system integrators, audit configurations, and review change requests.
- Define and monitor Location Update success rates and Diameter transactions per second limits.
Required Experience
- Deep mastery of MAP (SS7) and Diameter (S6a/S13) protocols is required.
