Senior engineering role focused on industrial control system security implementation, sustainment, and technical support.
The role supports engineering, development, expansion, and operations teams across the ICS security lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Implement ICSS engineering and support ICS security sustainment activities.
- Conduct or support audits, risk assessments, technology evaluations, and self-assessments.
- Review system architecture, network architecture, functional and detailed design specifications, and interface agreements.
- Validate systems through FAT and SAT and coordinate operational readiness deliverables for handover.
- Participate in incident investigations, root cause failure analysis, and disaster recovery simulations.
- Provide technical guidance to ICS custodians, ICSE technicians, engineering sections, development teams, and operations.
- Maintain the ICS in-scope inventory and support periodic reviews of equipment strategies and security policies.
- Lead ownership of ICS security issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control, Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- At least six years of oil and gas operations, technical, or engineering experience with ICS security experience.
- Experience implementing security controls within an OT environment.
- Understanding of industrial control systems environments, networking, security tools, IDS/IPS, and SIEM.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and strong computer literacy.
- Excellent interpersonal, administrative, organizational, and logistical skills.
Compensation
- Day rate in USD plus allowance.
Schedule and duration
- Work schedule is 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
- The engagement duration is two years, with possible extension.
