- Performing GrayMatter services to meet client needs, with a specific focus on DCS control systems
- Designing, developing, and implementing automated process solutions for chemical manufacturing facilities
- Be an active project team contributor for projects of all sizes
- Assisting in project development and planning
- Performing onsite start-up, troubleshooting, and commissioning assistance
- Required pre-employment drug screen and background check
- This position requires occasional, but not extensive, travel
- Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field (ChE, EE, EET, ME, MET or comparable). An equivalent combination of experience and training may also be considered.
- Experience with ABB 800xA distributed control system (DCS)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with: DCS platforms (ABB, Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell, Schneider/Foxboro, etc.) PLC platforms experience preferred (Allen-Bradley, Modicon, Siemens, etc.) Field start-up, troubleshooting, and commissioning Working knowledge of process systems and pressure, temperature, flow control, and loop tuning Understanding of Electrical Schematics, instrumentation, and control concepts

- DOWTRAN/MOD5 programming and/or hardware experience
- AutoCAD or Drafting experience
- Networking experience (Ethernet IP, Modbus, etc.)
