Job description
The Senior Content Developer creates content supporting documentation and training for Acumatica ERP.
The work helps Acumatica partners and customers gain the knowledge and skills needed to achieve business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop documentation for assigned Acumatica ERP functional areas according to corporate style guidelines and team processes.
- Update documentation for software releases and revise legacy content to current standards.
- Design training courses and skill assessments for different learner personas.
- Use AI-assisted tools for drafting, restructuring, summarizing, editing, and reviewing content under Acumatica's AI usage policy.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify user scenarios and information gaps.
- Resolve learner issues related to documentation and training content.
- Review user-interface labels and messages for accuracy and consistency.
- Continuously improve team standards, processes, and tools.
- Serve as the rotating Doc Watcher, triage documentation-related product changes, and maintain the team's working environment.
Education and experience
- At least three years of technical writing, content development, or instructional design experience in the software industry is required.
