Role purpose

Lead complex data analytics and business intelligence initiatives supporting internal and external demand for trusted, actionable, and accessible insights.

Translate business information needs into analytical solutions, data models, executive dashboards, and reporting improvements across the product portfolio.

Data analytics planning and delivery

  • Lead planning and delivery of complex data analytics initiatives for internal products and external client requirements.
  • Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, patterns, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Define analytical approaches and ensure deliverables are accurate, relevant, and aligned with agreed priorities.

Business intelligence requirements

  • Engage stakeholders to understand business objectives, information needs, and reporting requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear analytics and business intelligence requirements.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops and validation sessions and maintain traceability from requirements to delivered solutions.

Visualization and solution design

  • Design and develop reports, dashboards, scorecards, charts, and other data visualizations.
  • Design and maintain data models, measures, dimensions, and relationships for reporting and advanced analytics.
  • Align analytical models with enterprise data architecture and ensure integrity, accessibility, performance, and scalability.

Product analytics and reporting assurance

  • Develop insights into product usage, performance, customer behavior, and business outcomes.
  • Define and monitor product performance indicators and support evidence-based product decisions.
  • Validate analytical outputs and coordinate investigation and remediation of data quality issues.

Stakeholder advisory and capability development

  • Provide expert analytical guidance to product teams, business stakeholders, and client-facing teams.
  • Communicate findings clearly and promote effective use of analytics, dashboards, and self-service reporting.
  • Evaluate emerging analytics technologies, develop reusable models and standards, and facilitate knowledge transfer.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Six to eight years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, product analytics, data visualization, reporting, or related disciplines.
