Senior Consultant responsibilities

AI governance delivery

• Design policies, standards, operating models, and control libraries for AI governance.
• Run AI risk assessments across the model lifecycle, including generative AI tools, vendors, data residency, and contractual assurance.
• Conduct gap assessments against ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, the EU AI Act, and local regulators.
• Build AI inventories, risk taxonomies, use-case classifications, risk tiers, and escalation thresholds.
• Translate regulatory obligations into controls for first- and second-line owners.
• Assess model documentation, bias and fairness testing, explainability, and human oversight.
• Support automation through AI governance workflow, assessment, and compliance-reporting platforms.
• Facilitate client workshops and sessions to advance deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, engineering, law, risk management, or a related field.
• Five to eight years of experience in risk, technology assurance, cybersecurity, data governance, or regulatory compliance, including at least two years in AI/ML governance.
• Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST AI RMF, and the EU AI Act.
• Familiarity with regional frameworks including CBUAE, SAMA, SDAIA, NCA ECC, PDPL, DIFC, and ADGM.
• Experience designing or assessing control frameworks and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for translating technical risk into business language.
• AI governance platform implementation certification is advantageous.
