The Project
This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia.
This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.
As Senior Construction Manager, you will act as the client’s representative on site, overseeing the day to day delivery of major civil and infrastructure works.
You will manage and supervise main contractors, ensuring technical compliance, quality execution, programme adherence and best in class safety culture.
You’ll Be Responsible For
- Lead on site construction activities across road, highway, civil and utility packages.
- Oversee main contractors, subcontractors and site operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant delivery.
- Monitor progress against programme, proactively addressing risks, delays and interface issues.
- Drive rigorous health, safety and environmental standards, championing a “Safety First” culture.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, quality walks and progress reviews.
- Resolve technical and construction challenges collaboratively with contractors and the wider project team.
- Support contract administration, change management, reporting and stakeholder coordination.
- Lead programme delivery by directing coordination, strategy implementation, and alignment with the overall vision and objectives.
- Drive performance improvement by optimising resources, monitoring delivery, and embedding best‑practice systems and methodologies.
- Foster collaboration and inclusivity by building high‑performing teams, strengthening client and partner relationships, and promoting knowledge sharing across Mace.
You’ll Need To Have
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred.
- A seasoned construction professional with 10+ years managing Main Contractors on major civil, roads, highways or infrastructure projects.
- Experience working within PMC or client side delivery teams is an advantage.
- A true “boots on the ground” leader who thrives in the field and leads by example.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, temporary works and safety practices.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and contractor facing skills.
- A champion for safety – relentless in driving compliance, behaviours and culture.
- Proven track record in programme delivery with strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Leadership experience managing diverse teams and senior stakeholder relationships.
- Expertise in sustainability, risk management, and innovative programme practices.
