Job Overview
TalentOne seeks a Senior Construction Engineer – Mechanical to lead and supervise site construction activities for Mechanical, HVAC, Piping, Painting, Insulation, Refractory, and Fireproofing.
The role involves managing subcontractors, ensuring safe execution within schedule, quality, and budget requirements, and supporting pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in Mechanical & Piping Engineering and relevant qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage subcontractors, field personnel and construction activities against project schedules.
- Develop 90-day/6-week look-ahead plans and ensure workfront readiness.
- Review construction methods, procedures, IFC drawings and technical queries.
- Coordinate with Engineering, PMT, Client, QC and subcontractors to resolve site issues.
- Monitor daily progress, quality inspections, RFIs, ITRs, NCRs and punch-list closure.
- Supervise Mechanical/Piping activities including pressure testing, flange management, equipment installation and rotating equipment.
- Support pre-commissioning, commissioning and system turnover activities.
- Review HVAC installation, testing, documentation and compliance with project requirements.
