The Senior Commercialization and Technology Management Associate - Therapeutics plays a critical role in advancing innovative therapeutics from discovery to commercialization by partnering with faculty innovators to evaluate, protect, and develop Baylor College of Medicine intellectual property. The position leads commercialization activities across a diverse portfolio of therapeutic technologies, including small molecules, biologics, vaccines, immunotherapies, and cell and gene therapies, while developing licensing, startup, and industry partnership opportunities. This Senior role collaborates with researchers, investors, industry partners, and legal counsel to drive intellectual property strategy, negotiate commercialization agreements, and support translational development efforts. As a senior member of the team, the role also provides mentorship to junior staff and contributes to strategic initiatives that advance the innovation and commercialization mission of the BCM Innovation Institute (BCMII). The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, negotiation, relationship management, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a complex portfolio of technologies and collaborate effectively with faculty, industry partners, investors, and legal counsel.
