Work Model
- The position is onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments.
- Support OCI architecture, deployment, operations, and troubleshooting.
- Manage Linux infrastructure and automate provisioning with Terraform and Ansible.
- Maintain GitLab automation workflows and develop scripts using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Configure and troubleshoot networking, DNS, routing, load balancing, and security controls.
- Monitor platform health and support high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity.
- Perform complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis while maintaining technical documentation.
Required Skills and Experience
- 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, systems engineering, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on OCI and Linux administration experience.
- Hands-on Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab infrastructure automation experience.
- Strong knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, load balancing, and network security.
- Experience with cloud security, hardening, monitoring, performance management, and incident management.
- Scripting experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
- Understanding of cloud architecture, high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with VMware, Kubernetes, Docker, or Nutanix.
- Experience with AWS or GCP.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and configuration management best practices.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or similar monitoring tools.
- Relevant OCI, cloud, Linux, or infrastructure certifications.
Key Competencies
Strong infrastructure troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong documentation and communication skills.
