Senior Civil Engineer

NCE is looking for energetic and motivated Senior Civil Engineers to join the talented and diverse infrastructure group in Northern Nevada.

The responsibilities of the Senior Civil Engineer will include managing and coordinating projects of varying size and complexity.

More specifically:

• Managing projects to meet or exceed client requirements and expectations.
• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Developing written project scopes and proposals and participating in project interviews.
• Managing the allocation of resources to complete assigned projects.
• Developing and maintaining ongoing positive relationships with clients through proactive communication and timely responsiveness to our clients’ needs and wants.
• Independently evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out technical tasks, field tasks, studies, and analysis with ongoing review, coaching, and interaction with their team.
• Preparing and generating plans, specifications, engineer’s estimates (PS&E).
• Reviewing field reports prepared by staff specialists.
• Providing guidance to office and field personnel.
