Job Summary

• Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops Management

• 1.
• Administer, configure, and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments to deliver virtualized applications and desktops to users.
• 2.
• Manage Citrix components like Citrix Delivery Controllers, Citrix StoreFront, Citrix Director, and Citrix Studio to ensure seamless deployment and optimal performance.
• 3.
• Create and manage machine catalogs, delivery groups, and application publishing within Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
• 4.
• Monitor and troubleshoot end-user issues related to Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Citrix NetScaler (Citrix ADC) Configuration and Optimization:
• 1.
• Design and implement Citrix NetScaler for load balancing, application delivery, and secure remote access for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
• 2.
• Configure and optimize NetScaler for SSL offloading, traffic management, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
• 3.
• Configure Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB) for high availability and disaster recovery, ensuring Citrix services remain available even during failover scenarios.

• Citrix XenMobile (Endpoint Management)

• Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM)

• 1.
• Implement and manage Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM) for optimizing user sessions, profile management, and resource usage.
• 2.
• Deploy and manage Microsoft FSLogix to provide profile management and optimize the virtual desktop experience.
• 3.
• Troubleshoot and resolve profile-related issues, ensuring a seamless and personalized user experience.
• Virtualization Infrastructure Management (VMware and Nutanix):
• 1.
• Administer and manage VMware vSphere and Nutanix AHV hypervisors, ensuring optimal performance and availability for Citrix virtual desktops and applications.
• 2.
• Manage virtual machine (VM) provisioning, storage, resource allocation, and monitoring for Citrix workloads across VMware and Nutanix platforms.
• 3.
• Ensure integration of VMware vCenter and Nutanix Prism with Citrix infrastructure for seamless management, monitoring, and scalability.

• Active Directory (AD) Management

• SCCM Infrastructure Administration

• 1.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain SCCM servers and clients for managing software, operating systems, and patches across the organization.
• 2.
• Manage the distribution of software applications, operating systems, and patches using SCCM.
• High Availability and Disaster Recovery:
• 1.
• Design and implement high availability (HA) configurations for Citrix environments (CVAD, XenMobile and WEM), using NetScaler’s HA and GSLB capabilities to ensure continuous availability.
• 2.
• Plan and configure disaster recovery strategies for Citrix environments, including replication, failover, and recovery processes for both Citrix and NetScaler.

• Collaboration & Support

• 1.
• Work closely with cross-functional IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support for Citrix, NetScaler, and related technologies.
• 2.
• Coordinates with product vendor in-order to resolve any uncertain & re-occurring issues and fault escalation.
• 3.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers or IT staff involved in Citrix-related tasks.
• 4.
• Contributes to the development of the company by monitoring programs and identifying areas for improvement; by observing and implementing standard policies and procedures;
• 5.
• Work outside of usual business hours as on when required.
• Design and Implement Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop (CVAD) VDI Infrastructure on Nutanix HCI:
• 1.
• Citrix VDI integration with Nutanix, VMware, and Hyper-V solutions
• 2.
• Citrix Netscaler (ADC) and Netscaler ADM administration for Load balancing

3. Global Server Load balancing

• 4.
• Citrix profile and environment management using MS FSLogix & WEM solutions
• 5.
• Manage Citrix Workspace environment management for Applications, Network Drives,
• 6.
• Manage Printers & all centralized environment management with Active directory Group policies
• Co-ordinating & Ensuring best practices followed in Installing & Configuring Etimad Holding DR Datacenter.

• Maintaining & Managing Citrix XenMobile Infrastructure

• Manage Application delivery, User Enrollment, Enterprise Application Delivery in Citrix XenMobile
• Provisioning and Managing Machine Catalogue, Delivery group for different VDI groups
• Conducts Server Monitoring, support and troubleshooting on Daily basis.
• Install required applications in Citrix VDI
• Maintains an up-to-date inventory record of all Server equipment which includes warranty, maintenance contract follows up and end-of-life product details.
• Provides and maintains timely alerting and reporting systems during failures and downtimes.
• Functions as a Level 3 Citrix Server support whenever helpdesk needs escalation.
• Designs, implements and maintains all system aspects of Disaster Recovery Site for Citrix
• Monitors the utilization and performance of Servers to ensure the provision of efficient and uninterrupted service to users; takes corrective actions to resolve any problems & Follow best practices.
• Carries out fault analysis and diagnosis for Citrix Core Component servers infrastructure serving Etimad IT.
• Participates in projects within a team of peers providing expertise in leading edge technologies, insights, directions and alternatives throughout the life cycle of the projects.
• Participates in simulations and testing of evaluated technologies and applications.
• Assists in the area of Design and Requirement Specification, Evaluation, Selection and Implementation of Data and Voice Networking and Communication Technologies
• Maintains an up to date testing environment across the system.
• Coordinates with product vendor in-order to resolve any uncertain & re-occurring issues and fault escalation
• Contributes to the development of the company by monitoring programs and identifying areas for improvement; by observing and implementing standard policies and procedures; and by participating in extra-curricular activities and community events
• Work outside of usual business hours as on when required

Required Skills & Experience

• 7–10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years in Citrix administration/engineering.

• Experience in mission critical/ high availability of large/complex IT Infrastructure environments (UAE experience preferred).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure or AWS Citrix deployments).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes & Change Management.
