Come and lead a $2.4 Billion CategoryDrive category growth based on motivating category insightsLeading FMCG Company - Work with some of Australia's most loved brands About the Opportunity Currently we are seeking a Senior Category Manager to join our Grocery business which includes Spreads, Oils, Flavour Enhancers & In Home Baking portfolios. Working on many of our household brands Praise, MeadowLea, White Wings, Pampas & CSR Sugar just to name a few. This role is responsible for leading the category strategy and customer relationship between Goodman Fielder and retail partners to drive long term profitable growth of our business.Specifically, you will: Be category expert and lead for the GF business, with deep knowledge and understanding of the category and competitive landscape across the Retail and Foodservice channelsDevelop and embed Category Strategy to drive long term sustainable growth opportunities and category health across the Retail and Foodservice channelsTranslate category, portfolio and brand insights into growth opportunities for GFSupport teams to deliver key range review milestones & outcomesSupport Portfolio & Marketing, Retail Sales and Foodservice Sales functions to successfully bring NPD and key activations to marketLead price and promotion strategy in collaboration with RGM functionLead and develop 1 direct report What you will need5+ years at Category Manager position in FMCG environment2+ years at National Account Manager position in FMCG environment (optional)Tertiary qualification in related fieldProficiency across IRI (Aztec), Quantium, Microsoft 365 and Unify platformsHigh level of Strategic thinking, being able to translate internal and external insights into compelling stories and action plansDemonstrated experience in developing robust category strategy that connects internal profitable growth with external category growth and development.End to end value chain thinking - You understand the end to end functional interdependencies and commercial levers to optimise activities and decisionsStrong internal and external stakeholder management (essential) Why Goodman Fielder At Goodman Fielder, we're proud to make some of Australasia's most loved food brands — the kind people grow up with and keep coming back to.
