Role Description

  • The Senior Buyer is a full time, on site role based in Dubai, responsible for managing end to end purchasing activities within Denaster's distribution network.
  • This role includes identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating pricing and contract terms, and ensuring timely procurement of products that meet quality and regulatory standards.
  • The Senior Buyer will analyze sales and inventory data to optimize stock levels, manage purchase orders, and coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for efficient delivery.
  • Daily responsibilities also involve collaborating with sales and marketing to align purchasing decisions with market trends, preparing reports on supplier performance and costs, and supporting continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in purchasing, procurement, or buying within distribution, FMCG, or retail sectors.
  • Strong skills in supplier sourcing, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiation.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, sales data, and inventory reports to inform buying decisions.
  • Proficiency with ERP or procurement systems and solid MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship building abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working in or with GCC markets; familiarity with regional regulations and customs is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field; professional procurement certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are a plus.
  • Ability to work on site in Dubai and collaborate effectively in a multicultural environment.
