Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Financial Accountant role based in Dubai.
- The Financial Accountant will prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards.
- Responsibilities include managing general ledger entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting month end and year end closing activities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial reports for management, monitor cash flows, and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Maintain and optimize the use of accounting software, support internal and external audits, and collaborate with cross functional teams to provide financial insights.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Finance and Financial Reporting, with the ability to interpret and present financial information clearly.
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Hands on experience with Accounting Software and related financial systems, with the ability to improve processes and controls.
- Well developed Analytical Skills, including attention to detail and the ability to identify trends, variances, and risks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
- Good understanding of IFRS or other relevant accounting standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work on site in a fast paced trading and distribution environment, managing multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively with non finance teams and management.
