Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solution designs.
- Lead end to end implementation of platform solutions, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Define and validate non functional requirements to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and member needs.
- Partner with enterprise architecture, platform leads, and solution architects on technical design decisions.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure accountability, quality delivery, and adherence to timelines.
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets to support business decisions and identify efficiency improvements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role supporting complex technology environments
- Proven ability to analyze business needs and translate requirements into clear, scalable technical designs
- Experience supporting full lifecycle technology implementations
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience with systems integration, API design, Swagger, data mapping, vendor coordination
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to produce clear documentation, reports, and presentations
- Adaptable and self directed with ability to manage competing priorities

Your Role in Supporting Our Members
- As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into scalable, efficient technical solutions.
- You’ll work at the intersection of business and technology, solving intricate challenges, driving system integrations, and optimizing workflows.
- This is a full time, permanent role based at our Vancity head office with a hybrid work arrangement.

What You’ll Earn
- Salary range of CAD 92,700 to CAD 119,900 per annum.
- Base pay may vary depending on qualifications, skills, experience, and internal equity.
- Employees may also be eligible for annual incentive program.
