Senior Business Consultant – Alternative Investments
plays a pivotal role in delivering large-scale implementation projects, acting as a trusted advisor to institutional clients while contributing to the growth and maturity of the Alternative Investments service line.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of major workstreams within large-scale implementation projects related to Alternative Investments.
- Understand client business models, requirements, and operational processes to translate them into optimal system and process solutions.
- Act as a key client contact for all topics related to the Alternative Investments project stream.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to drive delivery, manage risks, and escalate issues as needed.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying opportunities for additional value beyond the initial project scope.
- Prepare detailed business and functional requirement specifications, including inputs for future product or platform enhancements.
- Mentor and support less experienced consultants, helping to build team capabilities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of implementation best practices, methodologies, and standards.
- Actively participate in international knowledge sharing and cross-project collaboration.
Key Requirements
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Senior Consultant within Alternative Investments, Asset Management, Banking, Insurance, or Financial Services Consulting.
- Hands-on experience with investment management systems or financial software implementations.
- Strong client-facing consulting skills with a commercial mindset and focus on high quality.
- Ability to work independently, manage complexity, and maintain momentum in demanding project environments.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Nice to Have:
- Prior experience with leading investment platforms.
- Arabic language skills.
- Collaborative team player with a desire to share knowledge and develop others.
- Willingness to travel as required.
