RBC's Digital team is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to help deliver exceptional mobile banking experiences.
The role supports medium to large projects and combines business analysis, systems analysis, agile delivery and digital product experience.
Role responsibilities
- Perform stakeholder analysis and identify stakeholder responsibilities.
- Plan, estimate, prioritize and manage requirements, including related risks, assumptions and constraints.
- Facilitate requirements discovery, analysis, review and prioritization sessions with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Bridge business and technical teams and maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze, document, verify and validate business and system requirements using enterprise standards.
- Maintain reusable requirements documentation and resolve or escalate Business Analyst team issues.
- Support design, development and quality engineering activities, including testing, defect triage and root-cause analysis.
Required qualifications
- At least 5 years of Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst experience.
- Strong business and technical analysis experience with the ability to connect business needs to technical solutions.
- Experience with user stories, specifications, business context diagrams, process maps, use cases and user story maps.
- Experience on digital online and mobile banking projects.
- Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and agile projects.
- Experience with document analysis, interviews, facilitated workshops, observation, prototyping, focus groups and surveys for requirements elicitation.
Preferred qualifications
- CBAP or PMI-PBA certification.
- Agile certification such as CSM, CSPO or similar.
- Master's Certificate in Business Analysis.
Work details
- The listed work schedule is 37.5 hours per week.
- The position is associated with RBC's Digital team and mobile banking projects.
