What is the opportunity?
Join RBC's Digital team to deliver mobile banking experiences for clients.
Lead requirements analysis activities on medium- to large-size projects.
The role requires business and systems analysis, agile delivery, digital product experience, financial-services knowledge, and interest in mobile banking.
What will you do?
- Perform stakeholder analysis and identify impacted groups and stakeholder responsibilities.
- Develop requirements plans and estimates and manage requirements risks, assumptions, and constraints.
- Define the business analysis approach, tasks, and deliverables for each project.
- Lead requirements prioritization and facilitate discovery, analysis, review, and prioritization sessions.
- Bridge business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze, document, verify, and validate detailed business and system requirements.
- Maintain reusable requirements documentation aligned with enterprise and digital standards.
- Resolve issues, support design and development, and provide requirements clarification to quality engineering.
- Support quality engineering test planning, defect triage, and root-cause analysis for requirements-related issues.
Must-have qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Business Systems Analyst, preferably in large financial institutions.
- Strong business and technical analysis experience with the ability to bridge business needs and technical solutions.
- Experience with user stories, specifications, context diagrams, process maps, use cases, and user story maps.
- Experience on digital online and mobile banking projects.
- Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and agile projects.
- Experience with document analysis, interviews, workshops, observation, prototyping, focus groups, and surveys for requirements elicitation.
Nice-to-have qualifications
- CBAP or PMI Professional in Business Analysis certification.
- Agile certification such as CSM, CSPO, or similar.
- Master's Certificate in Business Analysis.
