Role Overview
- Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is looking to add a Senior Business Analyst – Risk Management to their team on a 12 month contract basis.
- This role will support risk related initiatives by working closely with business, technology, compliance, and risk stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, support system enhancements, and help deliver key project outcomes.
Must Have Skills
- 7+ years of Business Analyst experience
- Strong experience working within risk management, financial services, banking, insurance, or capital markets
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
- Strong understanding of risk processes, controls, governance, reporting, or regulatory requirements
- Experience creating BRDs, process maps, user stories, test plans, and UAT documentation
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work with both business and technology teams
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills
- Advanced Excel and strong MS Office skills
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with credit risk, market risk, operational risk, enterprise risk, or regulatory risk
- Experience with risk reporting or data governance initiatives
- Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall project environments
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Power BI, SQL, or Tableau
- Prior experience supporting regulatory, compliance, or transformation projects
- CBAP, PMP, FRM, CFA, or other relevant certification/designation
