Role Overview
The Senior Business Analyst bridges data engineering teams and front- and middle-office business units.
The role owns the product backlog, creates user stories for data engineers, and designs reporting solutions.
The role establishes data semantics to support upcoming AI and LLM model rollouts.
Main Responsibilities
- Translate business workflows into functional specifications, user stories, and technical requirements for four data engineers.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog and convert business needs into technology deliverables.
- Build and maintain Power BI reports, ad hoc analytical queries, and dashboards.
- Execute data mapping, testing, and validation across Snowflake, Databricks, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, and other data environments.
- Drive semantic modeling and support a semantic layer for AI and LLM initiatives.
- Analyze trade lifecycles and resolve discrepancies across SMF, IBOR, and ABOR systems.
