You’ll provide specialist building services expertise across a complex national portfolio, partnering with hospital leaders, engineers, project teams, consultants and contractors to deliver practical, sustainable and commercially effective solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead the assessment, scoping and delivery of building services, sustainability and asset lifecycle projects.
Provide specialist technical advice across HVAC, mechanical and electrical building services.
Develop technical scopes, specifications, budgets, business cases and whole-of-life cost assessments.
Provide technical input across design, tendering, procurement and project delivery.
Establish and maintain consistent national engineering and building services standards.
Partner with Building Services Managers and Project Managers to improve asset reliability, performance and efficiency.
Identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption, operating costs and environmental impact.
Support capital planning, asset replacement, redevelopment and expansion programs.
Work closely with consultants, Design & Construction providers and contractors to ensure quality outcomes.
Research and introduce new technologies, engineering solutions and sustainability initiatives.
Provide technical guidance, coaching and mentoring to engineers and project teams.
You’ll be a technically strong and commercially minded Building Services Engineer who can operate confidently across complex projects and stakeholder environments.
You will bring:
A tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong building services engineering experience, particularly across HVAC and mechanical/electrical systems.
