Role Summary
The Senior BIM Associate - Structures L1 will deliver structural BIM models and construction documentation for buildings and infrastructure projects.
The role supports multidisciplinary design coordination, BIM standards compliance, digital project delivery, and international project execution.
The position is part of the Bengaluru Global Design Centre.
Role Details

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 3D structural BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
- Prepare structural models, drawings, schedules, and documentation for buildings and infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with structural, architectural, MEP, and BIM teams to resolve design and clash issues.
- Produce general arrangement drawings, reinforcement detailing, sections, elevations, and structural documentation.
- Support interdisciplinary coordination and clash detection using Navisworks or similar software.
- Maintain model accuracy, data integrity, timely updates, and compliance with client and project standards.
- Support model federation, coordination, quality reviews, and digital delivery activities.
- Perform QA/QC checks and assist with BIM workflows, templates, families, and best practices.
- Mentor junior BIM team members and review model quality.
- Coordinate with global project teams and deliver work within project timelines.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of experience in structural BIM modelling for buildings and infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience in reinforced concrete and structural steel modelling.
Technical Skills
- Autodesk Revit Structure, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360, and Microsoft Office Suite are listed technical skills.
- Civil 3D and Dynamo are preferred skills.
- The role involves structural BIM modelling, technical coordination, quality assurance, problem solving, time management, collaboration, communication, mentoring, and client focus.
Preferred Experience
- Experience on multidisciplinary and international engineering projects is highly desirable.
- Experience in buildings, rail, metro, high-speed rail, commercial, industrial, healthcare, aviation, or other infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of BIM Execution Plans, Common Data Environments, and ISO 19650 workflows is preferred.
- Experience in a Global Design Centre supporting international clients is preferred.
- Exposure to digital coordination, clash detection, and model validation is preferred.
