Required experience and expertise

Data and process responsibilities

• Identify data sources and conduct data discovery for subsidiaries and international entities.
• Analyze data quality and integrity issues and support data cleansing and enrichment.
• Suggest data and system improvements and document processes.
• Support vendors in documenting business rules and validating those rules.
• Coordinate with internal teams and validate reconciliation processes.
• Finalize functional specifications covering business rules, data mapping, business logic, reconciliation, exception rules, and completeness.
• Support integration activities with the FIS Balance-sheet manager solution.

Testing and delivery responsibilities

• Define entry and exit criteria for SIT and UAT.
• Create test scenarios covering exceptions, data quality, reconciliation, completeness, report validation, business rules, data flow, and adjustments.
• Create iterative test scripts and validate test results.
• Support go-live and post-go-live activities and help resolve post-live issues.
• Develop and support report development processes.

Stakeholder and subsidiary work

• Participate in data workshops to align data structures across subsidiaries and international entities.
• Understand subsidiary business rules and support their automation.
• Perform data discovery, cleansing, testing, and reconciliation activities related to subsidiaries.
• Liaise with subsidiary data, Risk, Finance, and IT teams.
• Present findings about data challenges to senior stakeholders.

Technical skills

• SQL proficiency includes complex queries, joins, subqueries, views, and performance tuning.
• PL/SQL expertise includes procedures, functions, packages, cursors, triggers, and exception handling.
• The role involves large-dataset analysis, data troubleshooting, data quality, reconciliation, functional specifications, SIT, UAT, and test development.
