Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Design resilient backend services and APIs for industrial data and complex AI workflows.
• Evaluate and benchmark LLMs and AI agents and build infrastructure to serve them at scale.
• Implement telemetry, automated testing, and CI/CD to support strict service-level objectives.
• Build Python backend services and manage Kubernetes infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Design data schemas and access patterns for industrial time-series and relational data.
• Integrate generative AI, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows.
• Participate in on-call rotations and own production service health.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through technical guidance and architectural oversight.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience focused on backend systems.
• Authoritative knowledge of Python and its ecosystem.
• Extensive experience with large-scale multi-cloud systems using Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
• Experience building scalable APIs and microservices that interact with SQL, NoSQL, or graph databases.

Preferred Experience

• Interest in or experience with LLMs and AI/ML frameworks.
• Experience with production-grade LLM applications, GraphQL or graph databases, industrial protocols, or time-series databases.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, containerized workloads, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Excellent English communication skills for explaining complex architectural trade-offs.
• Experience in a high-growth SaaS environment.
