The role is for a Senior Backend Engineer working on a contract basis.

Location and Work Arrangement
- The role is remote and can be performed from anywhere.

Payout
- The stated payout is $20 to $50 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize backend services using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Implement and maintain APIs, databases, and microservices architecture.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, bugs, and system failures.
- Write clean, maintainable, and documented code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet performance and reliability requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language, such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or similar web service technologies.
- Strong understanding of database design, SQL, and NoSQL systems.
- Familiarity with a major cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Ability to write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
