Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js)

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Design backend services with Nest.js and Node.js, including scalable REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Integrate machine learning inference endpoints, batch jobs, and model serving workflows.
• Collaborate with DevOps and ML engineers on model deployment, feature stores, and large datasets.
• Implement secure, high-performance systems with caching, queuing, and monitoring.
• Wrap AI models into APIs and deploy them to production environments.
• Write reusable modules, implement unit and integration tests, and support CI/CD workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 5 years of backend development experience using Node.js, including Nest.js.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, REST and GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
