Generative AI Engineer - Full Stack + Azure

Role Overview

Location and Work Model

• The position is 100% onsite at the client's Abu Dhabi office with no remote or hybrid option.
• Applicants must already be based in Abu Dhabi or be willing to relocate independently from another UAE emirate.
• No relocation allowance, relocation package, or family relocation assistance is included.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build and deploy LLM-powered applications, AI assistants, copilots, and autonomous or agentic solutions.
• Design RAG-based systems, semantic search, embeddings, vector search, and knowledge solutions.
• Develop complete AI products spanning frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and AI orchestration.
• Connect AI models with enterprise platforms, internal systems, APIs, and data sources.
• Take AI solutions from prototype through testing to production deployment.
• Use Microsoft Azure and cloud-native technologies to deploy scalable AI applications.
• Develop AI solutions with security, monitoring, evaluation, and reliability.
• Collaborate with product, business, and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into working AI solutions.

What We're Looking For

• 3–6 years of professional experience in AI Engineering, Generative AI, Software Engineering, ML, Data Science, or a related area.
• Strong hands-on experience developing GenAI or LLM-based applications.
• Excellent Python skills.
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Node.js.
• Backend development experience with FastAPI, Flask, Node.js, or similar technologies.
• Practical knowledge of RAG, AI agents, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, context engineering, and LLM APIs.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud deployment.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, Git, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development environments such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex, or Windsurf.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to build maintainable, production-quality applications.

Education and Advantages

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
• Exposure to Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Azure Machine Learning, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, MLflow, Kubernetes, or LLM serving technologies is highly valued.
• A strong portfolio of GenAI applications, GitHub projects, or deployed AI solutions is a major advantage.
