Role overview
Waracle is seeking a Senior Developer to join its digital technology consultancy.
The role focuses on building robust, scalable backend systems and supporting an inclusive engineering environment.
The developer will work on complex, business-critical digital transformation projects for clients.
Working pattern
- This is a hybrid role working from the London office two days a week.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end backend subsystems using Go.
- Champion engineering excellence through peer reviews and defensive security measures.
- Guide unit, integration, and service-level testing strategies.
- Translate technical decisions for clients and present solution demonstrations.
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to the growth of Waracle's engineering practice.
- Balance delivery pace with system health and shared feature-launch accountability.
What you will bring
- Proven experience building, scaling, and troubleshooting secure Go systems and microservices in high-traffic environments.
