Senior Backend Developer

Role overview

Experience and qualification

• Minimum five years of backend development experience, including at least two years in a Senior Backend Developer role.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using .NET 8 and ASP.NET Core.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Design and optimize SQL Server databases and queries.
• Integrate internal and third-party systems through APIs.
• Write clean, secure, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and production environments.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, QA, DevOps, and solution architects in an Agile environment.

Required technical skills

• Strong experience with C#, .NET 8/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, and REST APIs.
• Experience with microservices, Azure, Git, CI/CD, and secure software development practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or DevOps Engineer Expert are preferred.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, OAuth2/JWT, and cloud-native architectures is preferred.
• Government or enterprise digital transformation project experience is a plus.
