- Design and implement Azure landing zone architectures for enterprise scale environments
- Build and manage Terraform driven infrastructure to ensure consistency and reusability
- Integrate and operationalise Azure AI services (OpenAI, AI Search, related services)
- Manage API lifecycle and connectivity using Azure APIM and/or Kong
- Design secure and scalable network architectures (VNETs, Private Endpoints, Firewalls)
- Implement FinOps strategies to monitor and optimise cloud spend
- Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks for performance and reliability
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent) for infrastructure and applications
- Collaborate with application teams to support scalable AI and digital workloads
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud engineering
- Strong hands on expertise in Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Experience working with Azure AI services / OpenAI / AI Foundry
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking and security architecture
- Experience with API management platforms (APIM/Kong)
- Exposure to FinOps practices and cost optimisation strategies
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
- Strong problem solving and system design capabilities
- Ability to work in complex, enterprise environments
