Position Overview

Essential Job Functions

• Design and maintain OT networks using Cisco Stratix switches, industrial firewalls, DLR, and REP topologies.
• Manage OT security controls, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and network monitoring tools.
• Develop Rockwell Automation PLC solutions and maintain Ignition SCADA systems, including tags, scripts, and dashboards.
• Integrate enterprise and plant-floor systems with IT and OT teams.
• Perform diagnostics, monitoring, performance tuning, documentation, compliance activities, and cybersecurity standard alignment.
• Support startup, commissioning, validation, and troubleshooting of mission-critical control systems.
• Provide rotating 24/7/365 tier 2 support for automation network issues.

Education and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required, with equivalent industry experience also considered.
• At least 5 years of OT Automation Engineering experience is required, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or critical infrastructure environments.
• The role requires travel of up to 25%, with flexibility for additional business travel.

Technical Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Rockwell Automation hardware and software platforms and hands-on Ignition SCADA experience are required.
• Working knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and DCS platforms is required.
• Experience with OT/ICS networks, industrial firewalls, Stratix switches, secure network design, and EtherNet/IP is required.
• Knowledge of DLR, REP, ISA/IEC 62443, NIST 800-82, and the Purdue Model is required.
• Experience with virtualization, Active Directory, DNS, and Domain Controllers is required.
• Rockwell, Cisco Industrial Networking, or Ignition SCADA certifications are preferred.
• Experience with edge computing, IIoT, scripting, BMS, server architectures, high availability, cloud, virtualization, or hyperscale environments is preferred.
