Role Overview
Lead independent equity research coverage of MENA-listed companies and produce research and valuation outputs supporting investment decisions and portfolio performance.
The role covers sectors including banks, real estate, telecommunications, utilities, consumer, industrials, energy, and transportation.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead coverage of assigned MENA-listed companies and sectors.
- Build and maintain advanced financial models with forecasts, scenario analyses, and valuation sensitivities.
- Develop investment theses and research reports with buy, sell, or hold recommendations.
- Monitor disclosures, earnings results, and macroeconomic developments affecting covered sectors.
- Meet company management teams, attend investor conferences, and engage with sell-side analysts and industry stakeholders.
- Prepare investment proposals for Investment Committee approval.
- Maintain valuation and peer-comparison tables using internal forecasts and market developments.
- Generate investment ideas by screening primary and secondary equity opportunities across MENA markets.
- Work with the Portfolio Manager to assess portfolio exposures, risks, and performance attribution.
- Evaluate regulatory, economic, and geopolitical changes affecting MENA investments.
