Responsibilities
- Develop procurement strategies for appointed commodities and contracts
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships
- Lead negotiations for major contracts including terms, pricing, and service level agreements
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies
- Monitor supplier performance against KPIs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments
- Develop tender documents including RFPs, RFQs, and ITTs
- Draft contractual terms and conditions
- Comply with EHS policies and procedures

- Experience in procurement and contract management
- Strong negotiation skills
- Knowledge of tendering processes
- Ability to develop and manage contracts
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Understanding of EHS policies

Procurement Activities
- Developing procurement strategies for appointed commodities and contracts

- Leading negotiations for major contracts including terms, pricing, and service level agreements

- Promoting supplier diversity and sustainability initiatives
Tendering
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to define requirements and specifications
- Developing tender documents including RFPs, RFQs, and ITTs
- Identifying and prequalifying potential vendors
- Establishing evaluation criteria and processes
- Engaging in negotiations with shortlisted vendors
- Selecting preferred vendor and negotiating final contract terms
- Communicating outcome to all participating vendors
- Ensuring all tendering activities are properly documented and compliant
Contract Development
- Working closely with legal experts to ensure contract compliance
- Defining scope of work, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and performance metrics
- Drafting contractual terms and conditions
- Identifying and addressing potential risks and contingencies
- Engaging in negotiations to resolve differences and achieve mutually beneficial agreements
- Documenting all aspects of contract development
- Reviewing contract drafts with key stakeholders
- Facilitating execution of contracts
- Monitoring contract compliance throughout lifecycle
Safety, Quality and Environment
- Complies with EHS policies, procedures and controls
- Take an active role in implementation of quality, safety and environmental policies
