• The Opportunity
• We’re looking for a Senior Application Engineer to join our Data & Technology Applications team and play a critical role in supporting and evolving the ahm and OSHC application landscape.
• In this role, you'll be responsible for the technical and functional maintenance of critical business applications, ensuring they remain reliable, secure, scalable and highly available. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors and cross-functional technology teams to drive operational excellence, support business-critical systems, and identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
• This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced application support and operations professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, leading improvement initiatives, mentoring others, and influencing the future direction of application operations and platform stability.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Lead application optimisation and process improvement initiatives to enhance performance, reduce incidents and improve operational outcomes.
• Provide expert support for complex incidents and production issues, driving root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions.
• Manage application deployments, patching activities and environment health across production and non-production environments.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, monitoring capabilities, support processes and disaster recovery plans.
• Partner with development teams, stakeholders and vendors to ensure reliable, secure and scalable application services.
• Support and mentor team members through coaching, knowledge sharing and technical leadership.
• Drive automation, DevSecOps and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, stability and service delivery.
