Role overview
Join RBC's SIAI Digital Development team within Global Cyber Security.
Work as a full-stack developer designing and implementing software solutions across multiple platforms.
Build bespoke solutions supporting cyber threat hunting, cyber analytics, adversary emulation, and data loss prevention initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance, scalable software solutions using Python and Python frameworks.
- Design and optimize cloud solutions on OCP, Azure, or AWS.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain coding standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge sharing and technical growth.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and improve overall system health.
- Coordinate development, communication, and execution to meet objectives on time and as intended.
Must-have qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience in software development or engineering.
- Deep understanding of system design and architecture.
- Advanced Python expertise, including design patterns, unit testing, debugging, and frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
- Strong cloud and containerization experience, including OCP, Azure, AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.
