What is the opportunity?
The Rapid Application Development (RAD) team within GRM Market Risk and Counterparty Credit Risk (MCCR) is responsible for developing and maintaining business managed applications used to monitor financials risks to the Bank’s trading book.
As Associate Director, you will work on integrating these risk applications into an agentic AI platform, as well as serve as a resource and subject matter expert for the MCCR team, IT and other stakeholders.
As Associate Director, you will also query data and develop tools to enhance ad hoc reporting within MCCR, supporting portfolio monitoring and workflow activities.

• Analyze existing market risk applications to identify opportunities for improvement and simplification, ensuring they are fit-for-purpose.
• Manage the development and documentation of market risk applications by liaising with industry teams and the GRM MCCR team.
• Designing and building agentic solutions and workflows that reliably automate complex, sensitive tasks beyond basic prompting.
• Modernize the development and monitoring process of market risk applications to reflect best practices and meet industry standards with a focus on AI initiatives.
• Drive innovation within GRM Market & Counterparty Credit Risk by participating in or leading projects that benefit from technical expertise and access to data.

What is the opportunity?

Must-have
- Experience with agentic AI concepts(MCP, guardrails), frameworks (Langchain or similar)
- Minimum 5 years programming or related experience
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or a quantitative discipline
- Ability to think critically to understand industry drivers to develop sound recommendations for risk managers
- High degree of programming literacy (Python and SQL)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) , ability to present and teach complex concepts to a variety of skill levels.
Nice-to-have
Knowledge of market or counterparty credit risk
UI/UX experience
Practical knowledge of cloud platforms (Openshift) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
CI/CD, Airflow, Authentication/Authorization,
