Work with Kotlin in a modern Android codebase.
Apply strong mobile development practices while adapting to emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and reliable Android applications.
- Collaborate with backend and design teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and performance.
- Implement optimizations to improve the efficiency of existing code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
- Stay up to date with Android development trends, tools, and technologies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Five years of experience developing and deploying Android applications.
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and a passion for native development.
- Experience with modern Android frameworks, RESTful APIs, and OAuth2 authentication.
- Understanding of Android design principles and Human Interface Guidelines.
- Experience writing unit and UI tests using Mockito or similar tools.
- In-depth experience with a map SDK such as MapLibre, Apple Maps, Google Maps, ESRI, or similar.
- MapLibre knowledge is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
