Role overview
Join a growing FinTech as a Senior Android Engineer within an established mobile engineering team.
Work on a modern customer-facing banking app with end-to-end ownership of engineering outcomes.
The role is based in London with a hybrid schedule of two to three office days per week.
What you will do
- Develop Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack.
- Work on CI/CD, Google Play releases, testing, and observability.
- Perform root-cause analysis and solve production problems.
- Collaborate across Engineering, Product, and the wider business.
- Take ownership of technical improvements, releases, and engineering decisions.
- Mentor engineers and help strengthen team collaboration.
About you
- Strong commercial Android and Kotlin experience.
- Good understanding of Kotlin concurrency.
- A proactive ownership mindset rather than a focus only on completing tickets.
- Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for mentoring and collaboration.
- Interest in artificial intelligence and its use in software engineering.
- Experience in FinTech, banking, payments, gambling, or another regulated environment is advantageous but not essential.
