- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications for a variety of devices
- Work closely with cross functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers to define and deliver new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and other app related problems
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Collaborate in the architecture and implementation of new app features and services
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices
- Perform code reviews and contribute to a collaborative environment to improve coding standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of mobile apps in the Google Play Store
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java programming languages
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and the Android platform
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services
- Experience with third party libraries and APIs
- Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles and Android’s design guidelines
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug Android applications
- Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Espresso, JUnit)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git)
