Senior Analytics Engineer

About You

• At least 4 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a closely related analytics role.
• Advanced SQL and strong data modeling fundamentals, including dimensional models, star and snowflake schemas, slowly changing dimensions, and semantic layers.
• Hands-on experience with a transformation framework, orchestration tooling, version control, and modern warehouse or lakehouse platforms.
• Experience with data quality testing, observability, schema management, data contracts, and performance and cost tuning.
• Domain fluency in at least one business area such as PLG funnels, marketing attribution, product telemetry, or revenue.
• Strong cross-functional partnership, requirement gathering, prioritization, documentation, enablement, and communication skills.
• Curiosity about AI-native analytics and tools such as Claude and Databricks Genie.

Preferred Experience

• Databricks experience is preferred.
• Exposure to Unity Catalog, Looker or LookML, or reverse-ETL and activation tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, or Gainsight is a plus.

Compensation

• The estimated base salary range is $106,000 to $120,000 CAD annually.
• Compensation may also include equity, sales incentive pay for most sales roles, and benefits.
