Purpose of Role
The Senior Analyst, Strategy & Portfolio Development supports strategic decision-making through financial analysis, business planning models, market monitoring, and executive materials.
The role supports project development, capital formation, corporate strategy, portfolio planning, and business planning.
The position reports to the Vice President, Strategy & Portfolio Development.
Location and Work Arrangement
- This is a hybrid role based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain complex financial models for project development, corporate planning, and investor-facing analyses.
- Lead analysis for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning.
- Support equity, debt, M&A, fundraising, financing, and corporate development activities.
- Analyze project economics, financing structures, strategic opportunities, portfolio planning, and capital allocation.
- Monitor industry developments, competitors, strategic partners, investors, transactions, and market trends.
- Conduct market, industry, and company research for strategic initiatives and management decisions.
