About the Role

Responsibilities
- Develop optimized analysis models to support decision making, including building and maintaining the inventory database
- Perform in depth analysis of inventory shrinkage across multiple dimensions to highlight trends, root causes and opportunities
- Prepare financial analysis and reporting for monthly and quarterly financial presentations
- Provide insight and analysis on key factors impacting the inventory forecast
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards for inventory performance metrics
- Support system implementations, enhancements, and testing by validating inventory data and reporting outputs
- Lead the transition and optimization of inventory reporting into Power BI
- Partner cross functionally with Replenishment, Accounting, FP&A, and Operations
- Ensure strong internal controls over inventory, including monitoring accuracy, completeness, and integrity
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing timely documentation and reconciliations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role or financial/accounting analysis role with exposure to inventory, forecasting, and margin/cost analysis
- Experience working with a large ERP system (SAP strongly preferred)
- Advanced analytical capabilities including Excel (Advanced) and Power BI or similar visualization tools
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Proactive mindset with ability to identify issues and drive solutions independently
- Strong communication skills (written/verbal)

Job Summary
- Develop analytical models and an inventory database to support decision making and monitor KPIs such as inventory turnover, margins, inventory in transit, and aging.
- Conduct in depth analyses of inventory shrinkage to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop optimized analysis models to support decision making, including building and maintaining the inventory database.
- Perform in depth analysis of inventory shrinkage across many dimensions.
- Prepare financial analysis and reporting for monthly and quarterly financial presentations.
- Provide insight and analysis on key factors impacting the inventory forecast.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards for inventory performance metrics.
- Support system implementations, enhancements, and testing by validating inventory data and reporting outputs.

- Prepare and analyze estimated store inventory level to support operational planning.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role or financial/accounting analysis role with exposure to inventory, forecasting, and margin/cost analysis.
- Experience working with a large ERP system (SAP strongly preferred).
- Advanced analytical capabilities including Excel (Advanced) and Power BI or similar visualization tools.
