Role Overview
How you'll make an impact Responsibilities: Reconciling General Ledger Accounts, Bank and Intercompany Accounts Review/Approve Reconciliation Accounts Perform month end activities e.g. preparing and uploading journal entries, etc. Review and investigate reconciliation variances Maintain detailed records of all reconciliations and adjustments Identify opportunities to streamline reconciliation processes and improve efficiency. Investigate and resolve any variances in a timely manner Managing and clearing of Open items, including timely communication to stakeholders of aged open items Ensuring high accuracy in the reconciliation process Should be able to assist the Reporting Officer with both internal and external audit by providing requested supporting and answering queries raised Ensuring team is following standardized procedure and checklists Upskill team process knowledge Resolve process related queries Good Accounting knowledge Intermediate/Advance Excel knowledge Good attention to detail and accuracy Proactive and able to work independently and meet tight reporting deadlines Ability to effectively work in a team Flexible and able to prioritize tasks Updating SOP, Error Log and other relevant documents Conduct process trainings Communicate effectively with COE and Divisions regarding reconciliation issues Proactively identify areas where improvements can be made Prepare/Approve complex reconciliation accounts Conduct regular calibration and refresher sessions About you Qualifications: Bachelor Or Master in Commerce Minimum 1.5 yrs as SPA and Overall Exp of 4-5 years in Reconciliations like Cash/Bank, Balance Sheet and Intercompany Sound knowledge of Reconciliation process Should be available in night shift as required during month-end. Flexible with shifts (Morning/Noon or Night) and ready to extend shift. Work on weekends as per process requirement.
