Overview
Duties & Responsibilities (shall include but not be limited to):
Take full financial ownership of the rig s results P&L, Balance sheet, AFE Projects (CAPEX/OPEX).
Review company s performance and adherence to the budgets & forecasts
Assist with preparation of budget and forecast across all company cost centers.
Collaborate with Finance/Accouting team members with high efficiency and productivity
Adhere to company's financial/accunting practices & policies aligning with Rig operations, regulations and legislation.
Analyze Rig and Division level spending trends and work with Rig Managers (RM) and Operations Managers (OM) to implement strategic cost saving initiatives and deliver tangible saving to P&L.
Interpret complex financial information and provide updates and information as needed.
Monitor spending, correct GL accounts record, and other financial transactions.
Deliver high accuracy of financial transactions in each GL account, project (AFE) and management reports through controlling completeness of the accruals/provision, reviewing non-PO spending, and taking necessary accounting process/control action with GL team prior to Month end closing.
Create standardized reports, procedures/policies, tools and dashboard as required to improve the controls and processes.
Maintain relationships with stakeholders, service providers, and contractors.
Work alongside Operations centric teams to achieve combined goals in terms of Rig cost management and presentation of Rig financials.
Any other tasks required by Direcort/Manager Finance Ops support
