Senior Analyst - Accounts Payable (P2)

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Oversee invoice verification, purchase order and receipt matching, payment approvals, and timely vendor payments.
• Manage the accounts payable team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions with general ledger balances and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage vendor records, inquiries, disputes, billing errors, adjustments, and refunds.
• Prepare reports and metrics, support financial reporting, and oversee month-end close activities.
• Coordinate with procurement and receiving departments to resolve invoice and receipt discrepancies.
• Implement internal controls, process improvements, automation initiatives, and systems enhancements.
• Support internal and external audits and provide backup support to senior management.

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of finance operations experience focused on accounts payable and related processes.
• Experience with invoice processing, indexing, payment disbursements, month-end close, reconciliations, and vendor management.
• Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• B.Com, M.Com, or MBA in Finance from a reputed college or university.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset.

Workplace arrangement

• The position is classified as hybrid, with work regularly performed both onsite and offsite.
• The proportion of onsite work will be determined with the manager.
