TribalScale is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work across software engineering, artificial intelligence, product development and client delivery.
The role combines hands-on engineering with technical partnership, translating business needs into production-quality products and advising clients on technology decisions.
The engineer will design systems around AI models, including harnesses, agent loops, state graphs, tools, evaluations, observability, permissions and human controls.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with clients to understand objectives, workflows, environments, data and constraints.
- Translate ambiguous business challenges into technical requirements, architectures, prototypes and delivery plans.
- Build AI-enabled applications, agentic workflows, developer tools, APIs, data pipelines and full-stack products.
- Create agent harnesses, loops, graphs, evaluations, observability and safeguards for reliable AI systems.
- Integrate solutions with enterprise systems, data sources, cloud platforms and third-party services.
- Troubleshoot client issues and communicate technical decisions, risks, trade-offs and progress.
- Collaborate with product, design, engineering, data, security and client stakeholders.
- Support technical discovery, solution demonstrations, workshops and pre-sales conversations when needed.
