Axle is seeking a Senior Advisor to join our vibrant team at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) supporting the Bethesda, MD
The Senior Advisor will provide scientific administration, coordination, communication, and financial management support services to NHLBI's Division of Blood Diseases and Resources (DBDR) in support of the NHLBI HIV/AIDS Program. This role independently supports the planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of scientific and administrative program activities, including facilitating stakeholder communication, maintaining program databases and websites, and assisting with financial and administrative coordination related to HIV/AIDS research relevant to heart, lung, blood, and sleep disorders. A Master's degree in a health or science-related discipline is required (Doctoral degree preferred), along with a minimum of ten (10) years of NIH scientific program management experience. Direct NHLBI HIV/AIDS Program experience is preferred, and candidates must have experience conducting quantitative and/or qualitative portfolio analysis, supporting NIH-wide HIV committees and working groups, and translating HIV research priorities into funding opportunity announcements, program announcements, requests for applications, or related funding mechanisms.
