Salary and contract
- Salary is up to £31,000 per annum, dependent upon experience.
- The contract is permanent and full time.
Location and clearance
- The role is based at Gatwick, with two days of office attendance required.
- The position requires BPSS security clearance and the right to work in the UK for meaningful checks.
The role
Provide efficient business support to the Shared Service Centre Business Delivery Manager, leadership team, and operational teams.
Support recruitment, resourcing, records, reporting, diary and meeting management, and business delivery activities.
Core accountabilities
- Maintain resource records and manage recruitment pipeline activities, including assessment centres, interviews, and onboarding.
- Review operating instructions and procedures, manage colleague databases, and support workforce planning.
- Produce monthly reports, metrics, dashboards, and management information for leadership and internal customers.
- Prepare and coordinate meetings, including agendas, actions, slides, attendees, and logistics.
- Support special projects, stakeholder events, operational activities, and ad hoc business needs.
- Maintain databases, systems, electronic files, and regulatory records accurately.
- Train, mentor, and oversee Shared Service Centre Business Support Officers.
About you
- Experienced administrator with strong research, information management, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
- GCSE or higher standard in English and Maths, with excellent Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication, accuracy, discretion, diplomacy, and judgement.
- Able to work under pressure, handle challenging stakeholders, and contribute effectively in a small team.
- Aviation interest or experience, HR experience, and customer service experience are advantageous.
